Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Cancellation 7+ Days Before the Event
If you cancel your booking at least seven (7) days before the event, the remaining 50% of your payment will not be due.
Cancellation Less Than three (3) Days Before the Event
If you cancel within three (3) days of the event, your 50% deposit is forfeited, and the remaining balance is also immediately due, if not already paid.
Refund of the Remaining Balance (after deposit)

Total booking: $1,000
50% deposit: $500 (non-refundable)
Balance due: $500
Client cancels 10 days before the event: The client would receive the $500 balance refund, but they would not get back the $500 deposit.

Deposit Forfeiture (for cancellations less than 3 days)
If a client cancels less than three (3) days before the event, the 50% deposit is forfeited and the remaining balance is also immediately due, if not yet paid. This is because by that point, The Snap Emporium has already prepared and reserved everything for your event, and you have caused hardship on our scheduling with short notice.

Example:
Client cancels three (3) days before the event: They forfeit the $500 deposit and must pay
the remaining balance of $500.

Rescheduling Policy
If you need to reschedule your event, please notify us at least fourteen (14) days before the event.
